Freda was born on december 1989 in Bergamo, near Milan.
She developed an interest in photography when she was a child, beginning to take pictures with her father’s analogic camera, building little by little her own intimate imaginary. Photography become one of her favourite language that she use to express herself.
Freda studied photography and videomaking at Istituto Italiano di Fotografia (IIF) in Milan, then obtaining two masters in fashion photography and still life photography (with Roberto Mineo) at John Kaverdash Photography Academy in Milan.
She has always been fascinated by art and design too, falling in love with paper manipulation and transformation. She creatively combines art, fashion and architecture with a strong focus on geometric shapes, transformation and aesthetics. Freda uses a special pleated techniques that can transform two-dimensional simple surfaces into three-dimensional objects, able to expand, evolve and contract. Her work is also represented in the field of product, interior and space design.
Her endless curiosity continuously stimulates her to explore new artistic territories and new expressive dimensions, that she experiences during her frequent journeys around the world.
